On Friday evening I watched four human beings return to Earth from an extended voyage to the farthest place in the solar system that humans have ever been before.
I feel so much of what you said here. I am proud and devastated for the way that humanity came bring me to tears. We have so much ability to make the world a better place and there are glimpses that all the time. But the violence and rage that humans hold onto in their hearts is just so destructive. I understand that we need to do something about injustice, just wish we could find ways that didn't end with so much loss of life.
You speak my mind.
And not much has changed since we left the origin place, hundreds of thousands of years ago. Stunning.
It’s so true. How true? So true it makes me want to cry

We are both-a perfect dichotomy.
Horrible, holy...
capable of both are us.
We are both, and more?
...
Quite young species, us...
don’t know what we’re doing, yet.
Will we be well led?
...
From our ‘Pausing for Ponderings’ post due tomorrow, resonating.
